Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1. CCTV
1.1 The premises shall install and maintain a digital motion activated CCTV system as per the minimum requirements of the current Home Office Guidelines and in accordance with the Information Commissioners Office current "CCTV code of practice" which has LGC Forensics or Kalagate Certification. As part of the digital system an alarm will sound if the equipment is faulty or not recording.
(advisory note; The CCTV system must be registered with the Information Commissioners Officer (ICO) to ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPS).)
1.2 All images should be retained on a hard drive system.
1.3 Signage should be displayed advising of the use of CCTV.
1.4 Access to the CCTV system will be provided to Police Officers at their request.
2. Staffsafe
2.1 A Staffsafe system with both audio and visual monitoring capability should be installed in the restaurant. The system should be activated by either fixed or mobile panic buttons.
3. Training
3.1 All shift managers will have safety and security training including Maybo SIA accredited Conflict Management Training.
4. Food and drink receptacles
4.1 No food or drink will be served to customers in glass receptacles.
4.2 The store will operate a "No Open Alcohol Containers" policy to prevent persons carrying open alcohol into the in store area.
5. Litter
5.1 Litter patrols will be carried out collecting both McDonalds packaging and any other litter that has been carelessly discarded.
5.2 All packaging will display the "Bin It" symbol to encourage customers to deal with waste responsibly.
