Annex 1 - Mandatory Conditions
No supply or sale of alcohol for consumption off the club premises is allowed by this certificate.
Only members of the club and their bona fide guests are allowed to use the facilities of the club unless they have been invited by the club committee on behalf of the club for a specific event which forms part of the qualifying activities of the club and this has been recorded in the committee meeting minutes.
A club premises certificate may not authorise the supply of alcohol for consumption off the premises unless it also authorises the supply of alcohol to a member of the club for consumption on those premises.
A club premises certificate that authorises the supply of alcohol for consumption off the premises must include the following conditions:
That the supply must be made at a time when the premises are open for the purposes of supplying alcohol, in accordance with the club premises certificate, to members of the club for consumption on the premises;
That any alcohol supplied for consumption off the premises must be in a sealed container; and
That any supply of alcohol for consumption off the premises must be made to a member of the club in person.
Films
The admission of children to an exhibition of a film where the film classification body or this Council has determined the classification must be restricted in accordance with that classification. The film classification body is the British Board of Film Classification. In this condition children means persons under 18 years of age.
Films must be classified in the following way:
- U - Universal. Suitable for audiences aged four years and over.
- PG - Parental Guidance. Some scenes may be unsuitable for young children.
- 12A - Passed only for viewing by persons aged 12 years or older or persons younger than 12 when accompanied by an adult.
- 15 - Passed only for viewing by persons aged 15 years and over.
- 18 - Passed only for viewing by persons aged 18 years and over.
Immediately before each exhibition at the premises of a film passed by the British Board of Film Classification there shall be exhibited on screen for at least five seconds in such a manner as to be easily read by all persons in the auditorium a reproduction of the certificate of the Board or, as regards a trailer advertising a film, of the statement approved by the Board indicating the classification of the film.
Where a programme includes a film recommended by the licensing authority as falling into the 12A, 15 or 18 category no person appearing to be under the age of 12 and unaccompanied, or under 15 or 18 as appropriate, shall be admitted to any part of the programme; and the licence holder shall display in a conspicuous position a notice in the following terms-
PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF [INSERT APPROPRIATE AGE] CANNOT BE ADMITTED TO ANY PART OF THE PROGRAMME.
Where films of different categories form part of the same programme, the notice shall refer to the oldest age restriction.
This condition does not apply to members of staff under the relevant age while on-duty provided that the prior written consent of the person's parent or legal guardian has first been obtained.
Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Club operating Schedule
CLUB PREMISES - Embedded restrictions
Permitted Hours

Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours.
The above restrictions do not prohibit:
a) during the first twenty minutes after the above hours, the consumption of the alcohol on the premises;
b) during the first twenty minutes after the above hours, the taking of alcohol from the premises, unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel;
c) during the first thirty minutes after the above hours, the consumption of the alcohol on the premises by persons taking meals there if the alcohol was supplied as ancillary to the meals;
d) the supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in any premises where they are residing.
Operating Schedule Conditions
Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting
The Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting Systems are to be tested weekly and a written record of these tests is to be kept. Any faults identified and the relevant actions taken to rectify them are to be noted in the record.
Exit Routes
All exit routes must be kept clear and remain free from obstruction at all times.
Building Control recommend that the following occupancy levels are not exceeded:
Concert Room 200 persons (150 seated)
Lounge/ Bar 200 persons
Games Room 25 persons
1st Floor Lounge 75 persons
Local Pubwatch Scheme
The Club shall continue to remain a member of the Local Pubwatch scheme for as long as such scheme remains in existence.
The Club shall continue to retain photographs of known troublemakers behind the bar which the current and potential new bar employees can have access to.
The Club shall at all times have a committee member present when the premises are open during the licensing hours granted.
CCTV
CCTV shall continue to be used on the premises. Cameras should be kept in full working order and the recordings shall be retained for a length of time in accordance with local police advice.
Proof of age
Any person on the premises who appears to be under 18 years of age attempting to purchase alcohol from the establishment shall be challenged to produce photographic evidence to ascertain their proof of age.
The folder that the club retains that has the details of persons who have previously been into the club not being able to prove their age and identity shall be maintained and kept updated for as long as the folder is in existence.
Noise
Members of the club shall not be allowed to drink outside the premises at any time.
Children
All children (as defined in the Licensing Act 2003) shall not be allowed on the premises unless properly supervised by an adult.
Children shall not be allowed in the bar areas at any time.
