In the event of the transmission of any recognised international sporting event ("the event") which falls outside the current permitted hours on the premises to permit licensable activities commencing one hour before the start of the event  and ending one hour after the end of the event, the details of the event to be notified to the licensing authority and the police 10 days beforehand, with the police giving their prior written consent in each case.

 

On the days/dates listed below the additional hours are to be permitted for all licensable activities and sale of alcohol permitted on the premises (not including drinking up time) -  1st January 1hr, 1st March (St Davids Day) I hr 17th March (St Patricks) 2hrs Easter Sunday, 1hr Easter Monday, 1hr Bank Holiday Monday, 1hr May Bank Holiday, (2nd) Sunday prior 2hrs, May Bank holiday (1st), May Bank holiday (2nd) Bank holiday Monday 1hr, August Bank holiday Sunday prior 2hrs, August Bank holiday  Monday 1 hr, Halloween 2hrs, Christmas Eve 2hrs, Boxing Day 2hrs, 27th December 2hrs, 28th December 2hrs, 30th December 2hrs.

 

On New Year’s Eve from the end of permitted hours on New Year’s Eve to the start of permitted hours on the following day (or, if there are no permitted hours on the following day, midnight on 31 December).
