Annex 1 - Mandatory Conditions
Only members of the club and their bona fide guests are allowed to use the facilities of the club unless they have been invited by the club committee on behalf of the club for a specific event which forms part of the qualifying activities of the club and this has been recorded in the committee meeting minutes.
A club premises certificate may not authorise the supply of alcohol for consumption off the premises unless it also authorises the supply of alcohol to a member of the club for consumption on those premises.
A club premises certificate that authorises the supply of alcohol for consumption off the premises must include the following conditions:
That the supply must be made at a time when the premises are open for the purposes of supplying alcohol, in accordance with the club premises certificate, to members of the club for consumption on the premises;
That any alcohol supplied for consumption off the premises must be in a sealed container; and
That any supply of alcohol for consumption off the premises must be made to a member of the club in person.
Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Club Operating Schedule
Prominent, clear notices shall be displayed at all exits requesting customers and staff to respect the needs of local residents and leave the premises and area quietly.
All amplified music,singing and speech provided as part of the reuglated entertainment shall be played through a sound amplification system incorporating a sound limiting device that has been installed and set to the express satisfation of the Responsible Authority for Public Nuisance (Wakefields MDC's Environmental Protection Team). The sound limiting device shall be retained and maintained throughout the life of the licence and no alteration to the approved setting shall be made wihtout the express approval of the Responsible Authority.
Only solo artists/ solo live acts shall be allowed to provide "Live Music" in the Concert Room. There shall be no duos or bands allowed to provide entertainment in the Function Room except on three occasions per calendar year for special functions.
ADVISORY NOTE:
You can help facilitate patrons leaving in a quiet manner through promoting a ‘calm down’ period at the end of the night. Finish any “lively” entertainment (disco, live music, etc) about 30 minutes before the bar closes and play softer background music. Continue to sell water, soft drinks and other non-alcoholic beverages and allow customers to leave naturally
The Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting Systems are to be tested weekly and a written record of these tests is to be kept. Any faults identified and the relevant actions taken to rectify them are to be noted in the record.
All exit routes must be kept clear and remain free from obstruction at all times.
The Club shall continue to remain a member of the Local Pubwatch scheme for as long as such scheme remains in existence.
Any person on the premises who appears to be under 18 years of age attempting to purchase alcohol from the establishment shall be challenged to produce photographic evidence to ascertain their proof of age.
The decibel meter shall remain in the Concert Room. All recommendations on the decibel meter readings set out by the Local Environmental Health Inspector shall be followed.
Children under the age of 16 shall be accompanied on the premises by a parent/ guardian.
Children under the age of 16 shall leave the premises at or before 21:30.
Children shall not be permitted at any bar area.
On New Year’s Eve from the end of permitted hours to the start of permitted hours on the following day (or, if there are no permitted hours on the following day, midnight on 31 December).
