Annex 1 - Mandatory Conditions
No supply of alcohol may be made under this Premises Licence:
a) at a time there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence and,
b) at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or the personal licence is suspended and,
Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
Embedded Restrictions:
S.60 63 86 - Licensing Act 1964
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours.
The above restrictions do not prohibit:
a) during the first twenty minutes after the above hours, the taking of the alcohol from the premises, unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel;
b) the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the despatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered;
c) the sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club;
d) the sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty’s naval, military or air forces.
Operating Schedule Conditions:
1. Any person on the premises who appears to be under 21 years of age attempting to purchase alcohol from the establishment shall be challenged to produce photographic evidence to ascertain their proof of age.
2. The store shall continue to maintain the refusals log book which is currently in practice and to keep the log fully up to date with reference to recording those suspected of being under the age of 18.
3. CCTV shall be used on the premises. Cameras must be kept in full working order and the recordings shall be retained for a length of time in accordance with local police advice.
4. All escape routes and exits (including external exits) will be kept unobstructed, in good order with non slippery and even surfaces, free of trip hazards and clearly identified.
5. All exit doors will be easily openable without the use of a key, card, code or similar means and such doors will be regularly checked to ensure that they function satisfactorily and any removable security fastenings will be removed whenever the premises are open to the public.
